She examines the tiny wounds, the way his hand is warm in hers. She examines his fingers, wrists and forearm. No further signs of swelling, no pronounced veins, no marks under his skin that suggest the spread of venom. They already seem to be improving as she does her examinations.
She very nearly feels for any irregularity in his pulse before remembering that he doesn't have one, her fingertips merely caressing his neck for a moment.
